Supporting the Suzuki School:
The Parent Volunteer Association Makes A Real Difference

“In selecting the unique Suzuki School style of education, we’ve distinguished ourselves as wanting more for our children. Hopefully we're also willing to give some of our time and talent to support the very quality education and caring environment we seek."

Dear Suzuki Parent:

The primary reason most of us choose The Suzuki School for our children is the overall quality of education, due in large measure to a caring faculty and staff. However, another crucial aspect of The Suzuki School's educational environment is the support of parents. Parental involvement is important to all schools - it is especially so in our school because these are the formative years for our children. Throughout a child's educational years, parents are asked to volunteer their time in support of public and private

schools alike. There is no better time to support your child and your child's school than in this crucial stage of their development.

In selecting The Suzuki School style of education, we've distinguished ourselves as wanting more for our children. Hopefully we're also willing to give some of our time and talent to support the very quality education and caring environment we seek. To engage the broad skill-sets of parents, The Suzuki School Parent Volunteer Association (PVA) has established a range of activity and event subcommittees including:

Teacher/Staff Appreciation
Parent Level Leaders (PLL’s)
Thanksgiving Dinner
Holiday Collection for Teachers/Staff
Mother’s/Father’s Day Breakfast
Private/Public School Parents Panel
Spooky Suzuki
Student Directory
Breakfast with Santa

Based on the level of parent support, the PVA tries to maximize your contribution of time. We know your time is valuable, so time spent on any subcommittee should not exceed more than a few hours per month. Those few hours make The Suzuki School a better place for our children and our teachers. You also demonstrate to your child how much you value education. If you can support the PVA through one of our subcommittees, or have any questions, please contact the front office to get contact information for the PVA.
